MGI
adheres to rigid standards for the sheet metal fabrication
of a multitude of products. Our diverse in-house resources
enable us to combine assembly techniques that meet the
most stringent tolerance requirements. We pay careful
attention to tolerance relationships in every job. To
ensure consistent quality, our engineers employ SPC
using conventional and hand held data collectors. This
allows MGI to implement our "Continuous
Process Improvements" through data collection/correction
at each production work center. This technique guarantees
consistent results throughout the production cycle.
The heart of MGI's
precision manufacturing operation is our CNC machining.
We pride ourselves in mastering the most intricate configurations
and tightest tolerances as we manufacture metal products
for the most demanding industries. Procurement specialists,
aerospace contractors, and electronics industries rely
on MGI for state-of-the-art fabrication on a timely
production schedule.
Our
in-house bonding, laminating, and electro-mechanical
assembly facilities are of the highest caliber using
Mil-Spec adhesives and primers that are certified &
traceable to the source of manufacture. Our commitment
to expertise has allowed MGI to produce components for
the medical, aviation, marine, and ground equipment
industries. Our production machine shop and labs are
located in Moorpark, California.

jobs. MGI utilizes the latest industry standard 3D mechanical
design suite, Pro/ENGINEER. This 3D design tool is the
machining industry's most robust, parametric, feature-based
modeler. Using Pro/ENGINEER, our skilled technicians
can perform wholesale design changes with confidence.
Utilizing Pro/Engineer and GeoFold tools, MGI reduces
production cycle time and programming resulting in a
design-to-product timeline that launches MGI far ahead
of other metal working companies. With MGI Technology,
we provide superior work on a consistent basis. In
addition to Pro/E and GeoFold tools, our technical staff
also minimizes time between programming and production
by using our unique quality "CAM" (Silma)
software. This enables us to utilize in-house or customer
supplied CAD (Pro/E, SDRC, CATIA, IGES, DXF...) files
to generate NC code for our direct computer controlled
CMM. Quality assurance is the cornerstone of MGI's manufacturing
process. Utilizing the latest direct computer controlled
(DCC) coordinate measuring machine (CMM), we're able
to consistently analyze and adjust our manufacturing
process to meet our client's most demanding needs.
